By applying for a First Citizen Club membership, the customer is deemed to have certified that he/she is above 18 years of age and an Indian Citizen. Shoppers Stop Ltd. or any of its assigns, will abide by the consent provided by the customer till established otherwise. If the age of the member at the time of application and citizenship is found to be incorrect, Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to refrain from giving the First Citizen Club membership and lapse/remove all First Citizen Club points and benefits accrued under the said membership. • The Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Card refers to the tier of membership allocated to the First Citizen Club Member by Shoppers Stop/SSBeauty basis rules and regulations of the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program that are laid out by SSL from time to time. • Primary enrolment is defined as an individual who is the first member in the family to enrol in the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program at any point of time since its inception. Family is defined as parents, siblings (brothers and sisters), spouse, children (18 years of age and above as on date of enrolment). • Enrolment must be in the applicants’ full name and only one Primary enrolment per individual will be accepted. In the event of more than one Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club card number being assigned to the same individual (duplicate accounts), Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to merge the two accounts without any intimation. • Associate Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership can be provided only to the following family members - parents, siblings (brothers and sisters), spouse, children (18 years of age and above as on date of enrolment). As a part of the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program, a member is also able to extend membership to 1 friend (BFF) as an associate. • Members belonging to other than the First Connect tier can avail the associate card/membership benefit. The number of associate cards per Primary Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club is limited to a maximum of 6 against any 1 primary card holder. Who can be an associate is defined as follows – spouse (1 associate member), dependent parents (2 associate members – mother and father), kids (2 associate members) and a friend (1 associate member as BFF) • An associate/primary cardholder can only hold 1 valid membership as a First Citizen Club. SSL reserves the right to terminate any duplicate memberships found in the system without assigning any reason whatsoever. Duplicate membership may be defined as multiple registrations on the same mobile number/email ID or duplication by member demographics (i.e., same name, DOB, address against multiple memberships). • Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership is for individuals only - it is not a corporate card/corporate membership. • Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club members will not be entitled to any of the benefits under the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program for any transaction of the nature of institutional sales made from SSL stores. • Benefits under the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership at SSL is currently extended to stores both online and offline, owned & operated respectively by Shoppers Stop Limited under the name of Shoppers Stop, SSBeauty, HomeStop, Arcelia, www.shoppersstop.com, www.ssbeauty.in, MAC, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown and Smashbox (said stores). Extensions or withdrawal of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program benefits to any or all of these formats/stores is at the discretion of SSL and may be revised without any prior information to members. • Misuse of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club cards or Program benefits may result in termination of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership or withdrawal of benefits without prior intimation and at the sole discretion of Shoppers Stop Ltd. • The Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership card is valid for use during the period indicated on it and/or till the validity of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership. The person named on the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club card/membership is the only person who may use/avail the benefits of the card/membership. A Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club card is not transferable. • Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership can be revoked or refused if a Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club customer is involved in any act of fraud, shoplifting, cheating with or without cause and without any notice. • Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to add, alter, amend and revise terms and conditions as well as rules and regulations governing the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership including without limitation the terms governing Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program without prior notice. • By signing up/enrolling for First Citizen Club registration form/membership form, you agree to our terms and conditions mentioned herein and consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the privacy policy of our website. • By using his/her Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club card/membership number at Shoppers Stop Ltd. to transact or avail any membership related benefits, the member will be deemed to have understood and accepted the terms and conditions of the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program and all such terms and conditions of the First Citizen Club Program that may be stipulated by Shoppers Stop Ltd and the same will be binding on the member. Earning Reward Points • Reward Points will be credited only if you present your Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club card at the time of payment. No Reward Points can be recorded once the transaction is complete. • Reward Points will be earned on purchase of Gift Vouchers/Gift Card and therefore will not be issued on redemption of Gift Vouchers/Gift Cards. • Reward Points will be earned on the net value or value of cash actually paid by member in stores or online/app. (Net purchase means purchases made by Cash or Credit/Debit Card, select wallets and net banking for online transactions). • Reward Points cannot be earned through use of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Reward Points, credit note, Gift Voucher/Gift Card, discounted values & discounted merchandise or any other invalid tender as may be notified by SSL. • Reward Points cannot be earned on purchases made through cheque/demand draft. • Reward Points cannot be earned on purchases made through Cash on Delivery (COD) on www.shoppersstop.com • Reward Points earned are of the same value, irrespective of whether purchase is made by Cash (excluding Cash on Delivery) or Credit/Debit Cards in stores or prepaid mode of payment on www.ssbeauty.in and www.shoppersstop.com. For redemption value of each Reward Point please refer to our website/app or visit a store. • Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to change the method of calculation of Reward Points accrual on Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club purchases at any point to reflect changing market conditions without any notice. • Reward Points cannot be earned on purchase of certain merchandize that may be notified from time to time. The following purchases from the said stores of SSL will not earn First Citizen Club Points - mobiles and mobile accessories, laptops and laptop accessories, MP3/MP4 players, iPods, pure gold jewellery, gold & platinum coins/bars, Tanishq jewelry, Sleek, Apple products, cameras, Ethos., First Citizen Club membership, shopping bags etc. Redemption of Reward Points • Reward Points can be redeemed only by Primary and/or Associate Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club cardholders. • Reward Points and other rewards and privileges are not redeemable for cash. They are not transferable. • The First Citizen Club membership is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of enrolment/upgrade/renewal as reflected in the Shoppers Stop system. • Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Reward Points should be redeemed within the validity period of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership after which the Reward Points will automatically lapse. • Certain Reward Points that may be earned or credited to members may have a different validity from the tier Reward Points and will lapse as per their validity and not membership validity of the member. • Reward Points redemption request should be made for a minimum of 100 Reward Points. You are requested to ensure that you have a minimum of 100 Reward Points, before you make a redemption request. • Once Reward Points are redeemed or lapsed, they cannot be reinstated under any circumstances. Miscellaneous • Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Club members will be deemed to have confirmed acceptance of all terms and conditions (which are subject to revision by Shoppers Stop Ltd. from time to time) of the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program by using the First Citizen Club membership to transact, earn or redeem points at SSL. A Customer Care Associate has the right to validate the identity (name, DOB, address etc) of the member to ascertain/establish the identity of the member as a Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club. • The Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club card/membership, given to all Shoppers Stop First Citizens Club, remains the property of Shoppers Stop Ltd. at all times and the same must be returned on request. • All rights to ownership and usage of the card/membership lie with Shoppers Stop Ltd. • The Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club cards issued are not credit cards, except the co-branded cards. • Free parking is available only for Platinum Aura and First Citizen Club Black members on the production of a valid parking slip (of the day) to substantiate their request for parking reimbursement (as First Citizen Club reward points). For Silver Edge and Golden Glow Shoppers Stop First Citizens Club, they can get their parking charges reimbursed (as First Citizen Club Reward Points) against purchases made on the same day at the SSBeauty/Shoppers Stop outlet where they have paid for the parking. • On the day of enrolment, the parking reimbursement will not be applicable. • Parking will be at owner's risk. Any loss or damage to the vehicle will not be the responsibility of Shoppers Stop Ltd. • The other benefits of the program like discount offers, vouchers etc. will be governed by their own set of terms and conditions in conjunction with the terms and conditions of the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program. • Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to add, alter, amend and modify, terminate, deactivate or close the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program at any point of time without assigning any reason. SSL, at its discretion, may also decide to close or deactivate or withdraw the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership for a period of time or forever. • Employees of Shoppers Stop Ltd. and subsidiaries of Shoppers Stop Ltd. and their immediate families are not permitted to apply for Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership. Immediate family is defined as spouse, dependent parents and dependent children/kids. • Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to refuse Shoppers Stop First Citizen membership to an applicant without assigning any reason whatsoever. • Any dispute arising will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only. • Under a special arrangement, members of the Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Program will now be able to earn and/or spend the Reward Points at and from any of the stores, be it Shoppers Stop or SSBeauty against the purchases made by them across all the above-mentioned stores. The terms & conditions of the Loyalty Program of each of the store shall be valid and applicable to the respective membership, however, the Loyalty Program terms & conditions/rules of the store at and from where the customer is making a specific transaction shall supersede the terms & conditions of other stores/loyalty programs at any given point of time for that particular transaction. Shoppers Stop Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw/revise/restrict this arrangement at any point of time without assigning any reason whatsoever. • The email ID provided will be used to generate your online SSL a/c for access of benefits on www.ssbeauty.in and www.shoppersstop.com and the SSBeauty and SSL mobile app. A password will be generated and shared on the said ID subject to verification. Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club membership number can be linked to only one online email ID, therefore in case the said email ID is already registered with us and is linked to the same or some other account then a new account and password will not be generated.
